Continue reading »]]> We continue our series in The Book of Revelation this Sunday Morning at 11am here at Calvary looking at “Jesus, Our Aslan: The Original Lion King!”  Our desire here at Calvary is to bring the ancient but timeless truths of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation to everyone, not just as an old story, but as a vibrant, living Word that God intended which is relevant for every generation.  We’d love to see you if you are in the area and extend a warm invitation to all.

Continue reading »]]> We have several special events planned for this year including our Community Coffee Morning on Monday 23rd January from 10.30am to 1pm, which we plan to have on a monthly basis.  Tea, coffee and home baking will be available and we would love to see you if you are in the area.

Also coming up we have Ian White in concert here at 6.30pm on Sunday 11th March, Ian has over twenty five years of experience in the Contemporary Christian Music industry, producing several successful albums  over that time which has included his series’ of Psalms set to music.  He has also been continuing to have musical and spiritual input in schools in the area.  More information about Ian is available here….

On Sunday 25th March we have a Bible Society Praise Evening here at 6.30pm at Calvary and we’d love to see you if you are in the area.

Then on Wednesday 28th March we will be having a youth/young adult outreach event with award winning singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna, along with BBC’s new songwriter 2008 competition finalist Roo Walker.  These two world class acts are currently touring the UK with their “Coffee Shop Tour” – a unique blend of music and stories over several cups of coffee.  Come and enjoy what promises to be a most entertaining evening.
