| Due out in June 2008 Smuggler's Ransom is set in 1985 during the Cold War between East and West. A young woman - Carmen - is caught by communist forces while trying to smuggle bibles into Romania. The Soviets demand that her father - a Soviet Nuclear Physicist who defected to the West - be turned over to them, in return for Carmen's life. The U.S. government however, send in one of their own agents in order not to pay such a ransom. | |||
