This ministry provides Bible studies and fellowship opportunities for the women of the church. They meet twice monthly to meet the various needs of working mothers and women. The Pastor’s wife (Cathie Simpson) is responsible for the general oversight and leadership of the women’s ministry.
Ladies Christmas Tea: Hard to believe it is almost time for our Christmas Tea which will take place on Monday 12th December at 7.30pm, in the Fellowship Hall here at Calvary. Our Guest Speaker this year is Mrs Ellen Simpson and we are looking forward to what she will be sharing with us, so come and bring a friend. If you wish to participate in the giving of a parcel bring a gift to the value of £5. We hold regular meetings here at Calvary which you are welcome to attend, including:
Women’s Bible Study – 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. This year’s theme:
“In The Hands Of The Potter” – “But now O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand.” Isaiah 64:8. Come and enjoy fellowship with us as we study God’s Word together. Tea and coffee are provided.
Women’s Coffee Morning – 1st Wednesday of each month at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Women share and testify to God’s goodness together during this time which last approximately an hour. Come and be encouraged, enjoy worship and fellowship over coffee or tea and cakes.
