Mark Fry, the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Ark City bio

Pastor Mark has been the pastor of Calvary Chapel of Ark City since 1979. He and his wife, Ann, lived in Winfield, a small town just north of Ark City, where Mark was a Police Officer prior to entering the
pastorate on a full-time basis.

CC Ark City was started in 1976 by Pastor Joe Crowley who came back to Kansas from Harvest Fellowship (the, Calvary Chapel of Riverside, Ca. where Greg Laurie pastored).  Joe left in 1979 and planted a Calvary
in Wellington, about 40 miles west of Ark City.

Mark and Ann found Calvary Chapel in 1977 and became active in several ministries while Mark was a Police Officer.  When Pastor Joe left, Mark and Ann prayed and sought God's wisdom about leaving the security of Law Enforcement to enter the unknowns of Pastoral ministry. With God's leading, directing through a number of miraculous circumstances, they began a journey which has lasted for almost 25 wonderful years!

Mark and Ann have two married daughters, Lisa and husband Robert Holland; and Kara and husband Jeff Trujillo. They also have two grandsons:  Tanner and Alex.
